GSC Game World has released brand new and free content for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl called Stories Untold, and it adds approximately five hours of new content to discover. Those five hours encompass eight new missions, six new characters, seven new locations, three new items, and a new weapon which is the GP37V2 rifle, a modified version of the GP37 rifle.
In STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Stories Untold a mysterious transmission is broadcasting which is giving stalkers headaches and hallucinations. In this story chain, you can make decisions on how to help the scientists trying to resolve this mystery, and find the source of the transmission. The mission becomes available after leaving the Zalissya region, and can be picked up on the PDA anywhere though the highest chance of is by the Burnt Forest. You will also have the option to create a new hub within the Burnt Forest. The Stories Untold update has also brought some new fixes and those are listed as follows:
- Fixed an issue where multiple artifacts could spawn in one place.
- Optimized multiple mutant models.
- Fixed an issue where NPC could not find a way to the shelter during an Emission at the Cement Factory location.
- Fixed an issue where NPC could not find a way to the shelter during an Emission in Zalissya.
- Fixed an issue that could cause massive mutant hordes to spawn at the Plant location of the Garbage region.
- Adjusted dead zone settings for DualSense controller on PC.
- Fixed an issue where the player could obtain the Heart of Chornobyl artifact from the regular anomalies.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Stories Untold is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.
