Larian Studios reveals more details about Divinity

Swen Vincke, CEO of Larian Studios, was interviewed exclusively by JeuxVidéo.com, and some interesting information came out:

It’s been worked on by 530 developers on a new engine. It is a turn-based RPG, not an action game. The story will take place about 100 years after Divinity Original Sin 2 and will offer a ton of possibilities. All game systems (narrative, character development, etc.) have been revamped, and the game combines gameplay elements from Baldur’s Gate III and Divinity Original Sin 2.

Divinity marks Larian’s return to a series that predates even Baldur’s Gate, with big ambitions. The studio now hopes to develop its relationship with platforms to plan future versions of the game.
