Revealed at The Game Awards this week, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic has become eagerly awaited by fans. This single-player RPG is directed by Casey Hudson, who was also behind the first Knights of the Old Republic. We also owe him the Mass Effect trilogy.
Despite a quite magnificent trailer, it’s pretty obvious that the game won’t be coming out for several years. Jason Schreier, a journalist at Bloomberg, even claimed that the title won’t be available until 2030 at the earliest.
In a short message posted on X, Hudson sought to reassure players. He stated that Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic will be released before 2030.
“Don’t worry about the “not till 2030” rumors. Game will be out before then. I’m not getting any younger!”
