Capcom is bringing the Blue Bomber back. Mega Man is back in action with Mega Man: Dual Override, set to arrive sometime in 2027.
Shown at tonight’s Game Awards 2025, we got a very brief glimpse of gameplay for Mega Man’s new adventure. With an orchestral tease of Dr. Wily’s Theme, the new Mega Man takes a classic approach to the Blue Bomber, with a more stylized look.
What “Dual Override” means is yet to be seen, but the actual gameplay looks like classic Mega Man. Run across the field, shoot and slide, and deal with the many colorful and dangerous robots in your way.
We’ll doubtless learn more between now and 2027, but seeing a gameplay slice right now certainly feels like a sign of confidence from the crew at Capcom.
Mega Man: Dual Override is aiming for 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch 1, and PC.
