JJK Execution ending explained: We need to talk about Yuta and Yuji

JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is a compilation film that montages its way through the Shibuya arc to provide context for season 3, which will cover the Itadori Extermination arc. This story directly follows Shibuya and gives insight into Yuji Itadori’s mental state after destroying the city as Sukuna controlled his body. Although most don’t need yet another recap of season 2 material, some viewers may still be confused as to why Yuta Okkotsu, the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is now out to kill Yuj in the film.
