Day 1 Game Pass title Death Howl headed to PS5 in February 2026
Developed by The Outer Zone, Death Howl combines Soulslike, turn-based strategy, and deckbuilding. Early reviews suggest that it excels in doing so.
As for its plot, Death Howl tells the story of a Shamanic woman named Ro, who has lost her child. Unable to accept the loss and desperate to reverse it, she enters the world of spirits to fight for a second chance.
āMinimalist in presentation but unafraid of raw, harrowing themes, Death Howl unfolds as a metaphorical journey through sorrow, survival, and acceptance,ā reads an official overview. āItās a hunt where every step forward carries a cost ā and every enemy demands a study worthy of a huntress.ā
