Metroid Prime 4 gets a comparison video between the Switch and Switch 2 versions

After getting some rather positive reviews, the two versions of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are now being compared. We can see the Switch version and the Switch 2 version side by side. and thus, the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits shares its conclusions.

On Switch, Metroid Prime 4 runs at dynamic 1080p at 60 FPS when docked and dynamic 720p at 60 FPS in handheld mode. On Switch 2, when docked, we are looking at dynamic 2160p at 60 FPS in Quality mode and native 1080p at 120 FPS in Performance mode. Still on Switch 2, but this time in handheld mode, we get native 1080p at 60 FPS in Quality mode and upscaled 1080p (from 720p) at 60 FPS in Performance mode.

The notable differences between the two versions are in the definition, the resolution of certain textures, and the shadows. Other than that, they are relatively similar. Performance is extremely stable on both machines. Finally, on Switch 2, loading times are five times faster than on Switch.
