Without any warning, Nintendo has rolled out update 1.4.0 for Mario Kart World. The racing game exclusive to the Switch 2 now boasts a number of additions.
Among the main changes is a mode in which players can customize the items that appear during the race. In addition, the title of the music currently playing is now displayed at the top of the screen, and the volume of the tracks can be increased via a dedicated setting.
In other great news, players can gather a group of friends before starting a race in any online mode. Tracks that include Koopa Beach in their itinerary have been modified to offer more variety. Finally, elements such as coins on the water and turbo snacks regenerate more quickly.
