God Of War TV Show Casting Now Underway, As High-Profile Director Comes Aboard

The God of War TV show for Prime Video from Battlestar Galactica’s Ronald D. Moore is moving ahead, with a new report from Deadline saying Emmy-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye has signed on to direct the first two episodes of the untitled show. The director is best known for Shogun and The Boys.

Moore, meanwhile, is the showrunner, writer, and executive producer. The report added that pre-production work for the God of War show is now underway in Vancouver and that casting is happening. However, there is no word yet on any names for actors who might land parts in the show.

Prime Video is also the home of the Fallout TV show, which returns for its second season this month. There are also Wolfenstein and Mass Effect shows in the works at Prime Video. Two seasons of the God of War TV show have already been ordered.
