December 10 marks the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077, and developer CD Projekt is teasing something to mark the occasion. On its social media channels, the company posted a “Cyberpunk 2077 birthday and anniversary calendar” image alongside a cryptic message. “Secure comms channel established. Standby for incoming priority transmission,” the message reads, with images of characters and dates accompanying it.
The tweet hints at something happening on December 10–the day Cyberpunk 2077 launched in 2020–and another on December 12 linked to Solomon Reed. On December 19, it looks like we’ll hear from the songbird herself, Song So Mi.

So what’s CDPR Red teasing? The studio has supported Cyberpunk 2077 extensively since its rocky launch, rolling out major updates to improve the game’s quality. These fixes eventually led to the release of the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion–from which both Reed and Songbird originate–and since then, CDPR has added even more content to the game.
