Steam Drops 7 More Free Games To Download, No Strings Attached

Seven more free games have just been released on Steam, and if you’ve decided to have a cosy Sunday afternoon then this might be the best use of your time.

We cover free games a lot here at GAMINGbible, and in terms of which platforms periodically offer these free games, there isn’t really anywhere that does it quite as much as Steam.

Dozens of free games release on the platform each week, so it often means there can be quite a lot of look at.

If you’re a gamer on a tight budget, it might mean occasionally dipping into the free indie games section to find something worth your while.

Here Are This Weekend’s Free Steam Offerings

Seven more games have been released on Steam for your viewing pleasure, completely free to download and keep. Here they are.

  • Winds of Valen, a free fantasy sandbox MMO that is built with old-school progression, where everything you gain is earned through time and effort. It should appeal to the older crowd who played a lot of World of Warcraft or RuneScape back in the day.
  • Halmgaard, another MMO but this time it’s 2D and sports old-school RPG graphics. In it, you explore an open world, master magic and skills, and take risks for legendary rewards.
  • Devasion 0.5, a game where you steer your spaceship through dangerous galaxies, destroy colored rocks, and collect gadgets to upgrade your ship.
  • Whispering Death, a singleplayer horror game with a scary atmosphere, where you become trapped in a nightmarish place and must find a means of escape.
  • Killer Chat, a satirical serial killer dating chatsim. You play as a crime writer who joins a serial killer chatroom to get inspiration for your book by pretending to be one yourself. Over the course of the game, you get to know these serial killers, and possibly even fall in love.
  • Bard Idle, an auto battler and idle game where you build a unique team with randomised equipment and watch them battle it out against various enemies.
  • Lost in the Woods, a narrative-heavy psychological thriller with some spooky graphics and short playtime.

If you’re interested in playing any of these titles, you can head to their respective Steam store pages and download them from there.

Of course, make sure your PC meets the recommended or minimum system requirements before attempting to download them. If it doesn’t, you may experience performance problems when you try to play them.
