Although it may have gone somewhat unnoticed when it was released on October 23, Tormented Souls 2 has been very well received by fans of the medium. The survival horror game has “very positive” reviews on Steam, with 87% of the 991 reviews published being favorable.
In a recent press release, publisher PQube and developer Dual Effect announced that their game has sold over 100,000 units on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Andy Pearson, PQube’s marketing director, welcomed this success. He also teased some new content.
“After the success of the first game, we had high hopes for the sequel—especially given the incredible work Dual Effect put into crafting such a strong follow-up.
We’ve been blown away by the reception. We’re also working on some exciting new content and will have news in a few weeks… so keep your eye(s) peeled…”
