PC gamers can now enjoy Grand Theft Auto IV in the best possible conditions. xoxor4d has released a compatibility mod that allows the game to use RTX Remix.
Thus, GTA IV now boasts significant improvements in shadows, global lighting, reflections, ambient occlusion, and the behavior of certain materials in response to light. Work is still needed to refine the rendering of water, weather, and various light sources.
The mod is available for download now. Please note that you need a relatively powerful PC to make the most out of these optimizations.
