Since its release back in October, ARC Raiders has gone on to dominate the extraction shooter genre with its developer, Embark Studios, finding new and unique ways to keep fans entertained.
Consisting of PvPvE gameplay and offering players the chance to go solo or in groups of two or three, ARC Raiders is the latest third-person extraction shooter on the market, going shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Escape from Tarkov.
Since its launch, ARC Raiders has been met with generally favourable reviews and finds itself sitting at a 8.0 user score over on Metacritic.
With praise for its exciting and accessible gameplay, the ability to meet and team-up with strangers and constant support from Embark Studios, ARC Raiders is one of 2025โs most successful releases.
Now with an hilarious new hot fix, Embark has found yet another way to bring even more players to ARC Raiders.
The Perfect Way to Deal with Cheaters
Courtesy of ARC Raiders 1.4.0 update, players who attempt to access secure areas with the help of glitches and exploits will be met with a fiery welcome.
Showcased in a video on the ARC Radar Twitter account, players who glitch into locked rooms will be met with quite a lot of pain as various flamethrowers will kill them quite swiftly.

With Embark promising a โvery hot fix for the locked room exploitsโ, it seems it was not exaggerating.
โI have to say this is the best implementation,โ one Twitter user replied.
โGame devs used to do this all the time. Instead of fixing them, they would kill the player or make them automatically lose.
This is true game development at its core being revived.โ
Alongside this fiery addition, Update 1.4.0 also welcomed fixes for gun quick-swaps, menu glitches, and player pushing.
Additionally, the secluded research facility Stella Montis now features Night Raids with darker settings, more enemies, better loot, and more.
The full list of new content and bug fixes can be found below or on the official ARC Raiders website:
