Project Motor Racing Video Review

Project Motor Racing Video Review

Project Motor Racing reviewed by Luke Reilly on PlayStation 5. Also availabe on Xbox Series X|S and PC. “Right now, Project Motor Racing feels like an early access game that hasn’t actually been identified as such. There are certainly glimpses of a competent racing sim here, but it is drastically unfinished. With time, and its mod browser, I sincerely hope PMR can be fashioned into something that can fill the void left by the long-delisted Project CARS 2, but it’s an entirely mediocre single-player racing experience for now. It may have positioned itself as the heir to the Project CARS 2 kingdom, but it is simply not a better racer than its 2017 ancestor.”

Thanks for your comment! It really is fascinating to see how graphics and gameplay mechanics improve with each new console generation. I also appreciate how racing games like Project Motor Racing are focusing more on realistic driving physics, which adds to the immersion.

Absolutely, it’s impressive how each new generation of consoles pushes the boundaries of realism and immersion. The attention to detail in the car models and tracks in Project Motor Racing really enhances the overall experience. It feels like racing right off the screen!
