As America heads into a long holiday weekend for Thanksgiving, one of the most popular games on the planet, Fortnite, is encountering some significant issues. Epic Games has acknowledged server struggles for Fortnite, with players unable to get into the game at all.
“Our team is investigating the issue and we’ll follow up once the issue has been resolved,” it said. GameSpot attempted to access Fortnite around 2:10 PM ET and could not get into the Epic launcher, let alone access Fortnite.
As usual with any outage, your mileage may vary. But the issues today with Fortnite were severe and prolonged enough for Epic to release a statement addressing the matter.
