The PS5 is finally getting one of the best-reviewed games of the year. Indie developer Megagon Industries announced its downhill ski racing game, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, is coming to Sony’s current-gen console, and players won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on it.

When is Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders coming to PS5?

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders will release for the PS5 on December 3. It will include the content updates Megagon Industries has implemented over the past year. This includes its Freestylers Update, which brought Trick Mode, as well as the fan-favorite Free Style Mode, which was from the previous game, Lonely Mountains: Downhill.

It should be noted that the newly released Highlanders DLC will be available to purchase and won’t be part of the Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders PS5 release.

When Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders releases next week, it will be available on the PlayStation Store for $24.99.

Here is a description of the game, as well as a trailer, giving PS5 players a preview of what they can expect from the upcoming game:

“Take a deep breath, count to three, and… go! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a game about skiing down gorgeous mountain vistas. Slice through deep snow, skitter over ice lakes, and leap into the air in spectacular jumps, all surrounded by a variety of breathtaking landscapes.

“Fancy a challenge? Perform daredevil tricks or try to best your time for a spot on the leaderboard. Or you can take the road less travelled, discovering shortcuts as you explore the slope. Bring friends along for the ride in the new online multiplayer modes, working your way down together as a team or competing in a race to the base.”

When Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders was released earlier this year, it received an average Metacritic score of 87.
