What makes this such a cool playset for kids is its reconfigurable, modular layout. The large space ring comes with a variety of docking stations, to which any of the modules can be attached, giving builders the freedom to find a layout they like best. Each of the modules includes a bunch of accessories and has its own purpose–for example, one serves as a workshop, while another is a kitchen.
For something different, the pods can all be joined together to form a sort of interstellar train, effectively turning it into a whole new playset. Other accessories include a spaceship, a satellite, and a space bike. Six space crew minifigures are also included.
