Steam users can claim four free games and, to be fair, some of them look to be a lot of fun.
As we edge closer to Christmas, what should be a joyous time for everyone isn’t always the case, especially when the financial burdens we bear become even tighter. That, of course, can have an impact on the video games we pick up, which is always important for our mental health.
So, while we put money aside to save up for the big AAA release or to buy one for a family member or friend, the Steam store is a place where we can find loads of games to play that won’t cost us a penny.
Some of those Steam games are full free-to-play titles, others may be a demo or a trial for a release we’ve had our eye on, and some may even be an indie game not initially on our radar that ended up being an unexpected delight.
With that in mind, as brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games’, one of the four titles that you can download right now has a Steam user review rating of “Very Positive”.
Here Are Four Free Games That You Can Download And Keep Today

- Blightfell: “Choose your house, build a unique deck, and summon powerful minions to claim victory in Blightfell, a card-battler full of tight decision-making and strategic depth.”
- Find My MOM: “By overcoming the obstacles, the narrator, and the traps that stand in your way. The player moves forward, covered in objects scavenged from the streets — a wobbly basketball, a rusty barrel, even a burning box. There’s only one goal: to find and reunite with the missing mother.”
- IdleOn: “The management RPG where your heroes keep fighting even when you’re gone! Spend their loot on upgrades, unlock classes from Elemental Wizard to Cannon Pirate, and level up 19 unique skills like Farming, Sailing, and even Construction!”
- In Our Parlor “is a short, horror walking simulator. The player must make their way through a mysterious manor to unfold the story, find the parlour, and escape this nightmare. Navigate a series of dark set pieces and follow the music to discover the path forward.”
So, there you have it. Those are four free games that you can download right now courtesy of Steam and some budding indie developers. Hopefully, at least one of the above tickles your fancy.
