The DVD collection features more than three hours of bonus content, including Under the Shell featurettes on key characters, a short documentary on the showโs cultural impact, and a retrospective on the creation of the TMNT franchise.

Following Viacomโs acquisition of the TMNT brand, a new CG animated series debuted in 2012. It kept the core elements of TMNT intact, while adding fresh takes on familiar characters and emphasizing the Turtlesโ ninja skills as they battled new threats to Manhattan. This box set includes all 124 episodes from the showโs five seasons, spread across 20 discs.
Several other TMNT DVDs and Blu-rays are on sale during Black Friday, including a 4K remaster collection of the original TMNT live-action film trilogy From Arrow Video that’s on sale for $59.30 (was $100). The set includes 4K restorations of all three films. The 1990 film was restored from the original 35mm camera negatives, while the second and third films were restored from the original 35mm interpositives. Like other Arrow Video releases, the movies include Dolby Vision, HDR10, lossless stereo audio, and Dolby Atmos soundtracks, along with hours of special features. There’s also new director commentary tracks for each film, new cast and crew interviews, and other materials.
