Steam’s first Black Friday sale is really good

PC storefront Steam seems to hold a sale for nearly every occasion, whether it’s a season, holiday, or made-up theme — so it’s surprising that Valve has never celebrated Black Friday before. And yet, 2025 is the first year that the platform has ever acknowledged the Thanksgiving-related shopping day with discounted prices. It’s also a surprise because, unlike other sales, it didn’t leak ahead of time via websites like SteamDB.
