Splitgate 2 is finally coming out of its long beta phase. The devs have confirmed that it will end on December 4, 2025, when the servers will be shut down in preparation for the full relaunch later that month.
In their message posted on Steam, they explain that the end of the beta will result in the closure of the current Battle Passes and the resetting of seasonal ranks. The studio has also rolled out the latest playtest, which started on November 22.
The devs say they have taken advantage of them going back to beta to rebuild the core of the game. Factions have been removed, abilities have been redesigned as power-ups, and classic modes such as King of the Hill, Domination, and Team Deathmatch are back.
The final version of Splitgate 2 will come out in December 2025, shortly after the beta closes.
