Nearly a month after launch, even with competition like Escape from Tarkov and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, ARC Raiders is going strong. It averaged about 353,000 peak concurrent players on Steam in the past 24 hours and sold over four million copies within its first two weeks. According to Alinea Analytics, however, itβs set to reach seven million sales soon.
The firm estimated four million copies sold on Steam thus far, with nearly 750,000 sales last week on the platform, resulting in $25 million in revenue. Not bad, even as the extraction shooter came under fire for its AI usage, and nerfs to weapons like the Hullcracker and Venator. Of course, Embark and parent company Nexon have yet to confirm these figures,
Along with updates to game balance and bug fixes, Embark Studios has released a new map, Stella Montis, alongside other new weapons and ARC enemies. December marks the arrival of another major update, Cold Snap, which adds a new Raider Deck, the Flickering Flames Event, and the Expedition Departure Window.
What about the future, especially with the commitment to ten years of support? Time will tell, but for now, Embark Studios is taking things slow and steady.
