With the Christmas period fast approaching, nothing sounds better than settling down with a cosy game which just so happens to be completely free to try.
That is the case for Floramino, an upcoming indie puzzle game which features the most stunning art style and cosy vibes.
Developed by Studio Lavacado, Floramino will see players discover new flowers and figure out the best way to arrange their garden in a tile-based puzzle format.
You will take on the role of a travelling florist whose job it is to โexplore beautiful biomes, keep pesky weeds at bay, and find the best strategy to grow your budding business and save the magic of springtimeโ.
As you arrange your garden tiles, you will have to pick which flowers to add to your collection whilst arranging them into a compact plot.
However, as a budding business, you will have to keep up with the demands of your client base if you wish to succeed and flourish.
Gameplay is simple: rotate and fit tiles together in order to make the most of your limited garden space, make sure flowers have enough room to grow and carefully combat weeds which threaten to cover your hard work.
Set across eight hand-drawn maps, Floramino is a lesson in artistry as players strategise and figure out the best way to showcase all of their hard-earned flora.
Not only that but this cosy title will see you meet all manner of interesting people with a charming cast of characters.
Meet them, fulfil their requests and maybe even make friends along the way.
With more random encounters and area-based events expected to arrive alongside the full launch of Floramino, this is a game you will want to keep your eye on.

Tackle Various Game Modes
Floramino features two game modes: Story and Endless.
In Story Mode, players will take on the role of a travelling florist as they journey through the realm to uncover why spring has been so fleeting.
However, in Endless Mode, you will be able to practice tending your garden, uncover the best strategies and even try and beat your previous attempts.
Floramino does not yet have a full release date but it is now free to download and try out courtesy of Steam.
So if you are on the lookout for a cosy game and you just so happen to be a plant lover, you will love this little gem.
