Neither Activision nor Treyarch has celebrated Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 sales since its launch, and despite debuting at the top of the European sales charts, thereโs a massive drop in results. According to GSD, physical and digital launch week sales are 63 percent lower than those of Battlefield 6.
Chris Dring of The Game Business also estimates theyโre over 50 percent lower than Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While the number of players is likely high due to its availability on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, its sales have proven disappointing. Of course, US sales remain a mystery, so weโll have to wait for more details on that front.

By comparison, Anno 117: Pax Romana had a strong opening week, selling about 2.5 times more than its predecessor, Anno 1800. Itโs currently ranked second, beneath Black Ops 7 in a fitting reversal of their debut Steam week sales.
