After suddenly delaying it days ago amid rumors of an acquisition, Ubisoft has released its first-half 2025-2026 earnings report. Its release schedule is very similar to before, with titles like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, Rainbow Six Mobile, and The Division Resurgence planned for release by March 31st, 2026.
However, it also mentions an “unannounced title” for release in the same window. According to Insider Gaming, this is the long-rumored Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Remake. Reports first emerged in 2023, and it was allegedly planned to be released by November 2025 before the delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Alongside the removal of loading screens and additional content that was initially removed before the original’s release, it also reportedly lacks the modern-day sections. While Ubisoft hasn’t officially acknowledged the remake’s existence, voice actor Matt Ryan coyly teased it last June (and ended up in hot water as a result).
With no other major event left for the year, all eyes are on The Game Awards on December 11th for a potential announcement.
