Bandai Namco announced Tales of Berseria Remastered, an enhanced version of the beloved action RPG that was originally released for the PS3 and PS4. Like any remaster, this new release will feature the game fans know and love and also include new gameplay and quality-of-life features.
When is the Tales of Berseria Remastered PS5 release date?
Tales of Berseria Remastered will launch for the PS5 on February 27, 2026, just a month after its ninth anniversary of its North American and European release. The notable quality-of-life improvements coming to this new version include early access to the Grade Shop, destination icons, and the ability to toggle encounters. It will also include DLC from the original release, including character costumes, bonus items, and more.

“In Tales of Berseria Remastered, players will follow the journey of Velvet Crowe as she embarks on a journey of vengeance and uncovers the mystery behind her brother’s murder. Players will embark on a tale torn between emotion and reason, where Velvet and her comrades slash through everyone in their path and navigate through emotional bonds and betrayal.”
The Standard Edition of Tales of Berseria Remastered is available to preorder on the PlayStation Store for $39.99. There is also a Deluxe Edition available that includes the Battle BGM Pack, Digital Artbook, Digital Soundtrack, and Super Growth Support Herb Set for $59.99.

Tales of Berseria Remastered will be the second Tales of remaster to release within a five-month time frame. Bandai Namco just released Tales of Xillia Remastered at the end of October.
