ArenaNet and co-developer 2weeks have just announced the imminent release of Guild Wars Reforged. This new version will be available this December 3 on Steam and ArenaNet. The update will be free for owners of the game. Others will be able to purchase it for around €20.
This new pack contains the original Guild Wars campaigns (Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall) and makes the title compatible with Steam Deck. XInput controllers are now supported, as is high DPI for modern high-definition screens.
Visually, we can note several improvements such as new anti-aliasing options, ambient occlusion, HD skill icons, and enhanced 3D environmental sound. Quest tracking has also been redesigned for easier navigation.
