Silent Hill Townfall Release Date Surfaces

Silent Hill Townfall Release Date Surfaces

It looks like the release date of Silent Hill Townfall may have just leaked, and it could be legitimate.

Konami has been on a roll lately with its new Silent Hill games, with fans and critics alike enjoying both the recently released Silent Hill f and Silent Hill 2 the year before that.

It’s not stopping there though, as more Silent Hill projects are in development, and it seems as though our next big Silent Hill nightmare may not be far off.

As leaked by the Liverpool Mexico E-Shop, it appears that Silent Hill Townfall may be releasing on 26 March, 2026.

It seems that the date was added briefly to the website as a store listing. It’s too specific to be a placeholder, and the fact it was removed shortly after could confirm its legitimacy.

For anyone doubting how reliable this may be as a source, it’s worth noting that Liverpool is a rather big brand department store in Mexico. It’s similar to what Sears is in the United States, or M&S in the United Kingdom. It was named Liverpool because it imported a lot of its goods from Liverpool, UK when it was first founded in 1847.

Silent Hill Townfall is the next game in the series

If the Silent Hill Townfall leak is real, then it may also confirm that we could be getting a new Silent Hill Transmission soon, too.

And then we could all be playing the game next March.

However, it’s always best to take these rumours with a grain of salt. We’ll wait on official confirmation from Konami first before believing it to be true.

And if it does indeed release in 2026, it should mean Konami will have released three big Silent Hill games each year in a row.

And with the Silent Hill 1 remake allegedly coming in 2027, that trend may continue beyond that.

Silent Hill Townfall is the next game in the series, with this one being developed by Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code), a Scotland-based developer which had previously created horror games like Observation and Stories Untold.

Screen Burn includes developers which had previously worked on Alien: Isolation and Red Dead Redemption 2, which is a rather impressive resumé. While we haven’t really seen anything concrete of Townfall yet, I’d imagine we will soon.

Silent Hill Townfall is being published by Annapurna Interactive, a company that focuses on publishing innovative indie games. Its portfolio includes Stray, Lego Voyagers, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Cocoon.
