Given its continued popularity, Helldivers 2 could easily be released on additional platforms. This year, the Xbox Series version got a great reception… And that may have given Arrowhead Game Studios some ideas.
During an interview with The Game Business, Shams Jorjani, CEO of the Swedish developer, was asked about a possible Switch 2 version of the multiplayer title. He simply replied, “We’ll see”. He also added that he is not in a position to make such a decision in any case.
In fact, PlayStation is responsible for publishing Helldivers 2. Therefore, only the Japanese company can make that decision.
It’s exciting to hear that Helldivers 2 might expand to new platforms like the Switch 2! The game’s popularity definitely makes a strong case for it. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs on different systems.
