You may remember Saroasis Studios’ Fate Trigger when it went viral earlier in 2025.
The upcoming free shooter puts an anime waifu spin on the Fortnite formula, depicting lavish yet scantily clad anime girls shooting each other with a variety of different weapons, vehicles, and other tools at their disposal.
That’s not just why it went viral, of course, because it’s also that game where your view is obscured by female anatomy when you look down.
And it is that kind of detail that allowed Fate Trigger to go viral on social media earlier this year, with many people commenting on this aspect of the game. Objective achieved, we suppose, regardless of your thoughts on the path to such an achievement.
Fate Trigger went viral for reasons
Fate Trigger is coming out early next year, though Saroasis Studios hasn’t specified when exactly outside of Q1 2026. It’s coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
It had a closed beta test earlier this year, but next year’s launch will open it up to the public.
This launch will be completely free, and will be the beginning of Fate Trigger’s Early Access period.
