Black Ops 7 campaign cannot be paused by solo players, has no checkpoints, always online connection

Eurogamer writes: “Many of these problems stem from the solo experience. For one, the Call of Duty campaign cannot be paused, even if you’re playing on your own. The narrative focuses on a squad of characters, but no AI companions come in to replace the role another player would.”
