Friday, November 14, 2025 marks the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Players have been able to test out the different modes, and one in particular stands out… but clearly not for the right reasons.
The game’s campaign is already facing a barrage of criticism. Remember that it is possible to play through the epic story in solo or co-op mode. Unfortunately, when a player is alone, they are unable to pause the game. Furthermore, the AI will not replace the other members of the squad, leaving the player desperately alone in the face of adversity.
As if that weren’t enough, no save system has been implemented in the game. So, if you decide to quit the game during a mission, you will have to start it over again. A permanent internet connection is also required. If you disconnect, your progress will be lost. In solo mode, the matchmaking system and lobby creation are mandatory.
Finally, players are also criticizing the disappointing length of the campaign. Some say they were able to complete it in 4.5 hours.

It’s exciting to see the anticipation building for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7! The franchise always brings something new to the table, and it’ll be interesting to see how this installment evolves. Looking forward to the release!
Absolutely! The excitement is definitely palpable. It’s interesting to see how each installment pushes the boundaries of gameplay and storytelling, especially with the new multiplayer features they’re hinting at. It’ll be fascinating to see how they integrate fan feedback this time around!
