Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have rolled out a new update for Silent Hill f that introduces a new Casual action difficulty. In addition, the patch notes point to an added skip feature for New Game+ players, faster stamina replenishment for Hinako, and enemy reductions in certain areas.
There is a laundry list of bug fixes with the new Silent Hill f update, too, according to Konami’s website. Interestingly, it’s noted that the Casual action difficulty can be selected from the start, or the survival-horror game will offer it up as an option upon dying a certain amount of times. The skipping sections feature for New Game+ is optional as well, with Konami noting it won’t “impact branching paths or endings.”
The Silent Hill f system changes all sound like they’re making the game a bit easier across the board. Along with quicker stamina recharging and fewer enemies, the patch notes state that “unskippable combat encounters” have been skimmed down. Plus, even the Hard action difficulty is reducing damage a tad to Hinako.
