The anthology animation series Star Wars: Visionsreturned for its third seasonin October, devoting three of its nine episodes to continuing stories from the showโ€™s first season. That meant a four-year gap between tales of intriguing characters like the Sith-hunting Ronin, the former Jedi Padawan known as F, and a sabersmith trying to restart the Jedi Order in a distant future of the Star Wars timeline. That last anime short, titled โ€œThe Ninth Jedi,โ€ caught the attention of both Star Wars fans and Lucasfilm executives, leading to both a follow-up episode and limited series coming in 2026.
