After the resounding failure of XDefiant, Ubisoft isn’t giving up and is looking to release a new multiplayer shooter in the near future.
This information comes from several insiders on social media. The title, provisionally called Project Scout, will run on Unreal Engine 5 and feature crossplay.
It is said to be a very ambitious game with competitive multiplayer, all set in a science fiction universe. The screenshots shared suggest that development on the project isn’t that far along.
Of course, we’ll have to wait for an announcement from Ubisoft to know for sure.
