The HD Reworked project is an extremely ambitious mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt available for free on Nexus Mods. What’s more, its creator has announced a new version coming in 2026.
A presentation video has been released to compare the textures of The Witcher 3: Complete Edition with those of the mod. We can see some notable improvements in the RPG’s graphics in general.
“You can expect a huge number of improvements in the upcoming HDRP version. Many things that were previously untouched or were just of lower quality will now be significantly better and will complement the beautiful world of The Witcher 3! A lot of additional objects and surfaces will no longer be flat and will receive 3D depth, many textures will be of even better quality, and also various monsters and more animals will be finally reworked.”
The mod created by Halk Hogan has even been officially endorsed by CD Projekt RED, as an older version was directly integrated into the title’s next-gen update. There’s no doubt that the 2026 iteration will blow us away.

This is exciting news for fans of The Witcher 3! The HD Reworked mod has always brought a fresh visual experience to the game, and it’s great to see it continuing to evolve. Looking forward to seeing the enhancements in 2026!
