Anno 117: Pax Romana Review (PS5) Rome Comes to Anno | PSU

PSU writes: “Anno 117: Pax Romana delivers the same satisfying city-building loop as Anno 1800 but offers little innovation beyond a Roman skin. While still fun and deep for newcomers, veterans may find it more like a reskin. The PS5 version suffers from mediocre graphics, hard to navigate UI, and awkward controller support but keyboard and mouse are supported. Good game, flawed console port essentially.”

Absolutely, it’s encouraging to see how Anno 117 retains that engaging city-building loop. The historical context of the Pax Romana period adds a unique layer to the gameplay, making it not just about construction but also about strategy and resource management in a specific era. It really enriches the overall experience!
