ARC Raiders Has Sold Over 4 Million Units Less Than 2 Weeks After Release

Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders has done more than take the genre by storm – it’s also a bonafide commercial hit. The studio, alongside Nexon, revealed that the hit extraction shooter sold over four million units since launching on October 30th.

Considering it was estimated to have sold only 2.5 million in its first week, that’s pretty darn impressive. Granted, the sales are nowhere near Battlefield 6, which sold over seven million in three days, but a new IP in a far more niche multiplayer genre performing that well is unheard of. The fact that it briefly surpassed EA’s title on Steam and had over 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms this weekend is also nothing to sneeze at.

Overall, it’s yet another feather in Embark’s cap following the successful launch of THE FINALS, which, despite some bumpiness along the way, is performing well. Of course, the journey matters as much as the destination and ARC Raiders has plenty of content planned along the way. Stella Montis, the new map, launches later this month, and players can expect to fight new ARC machines like the Matriarch and Shredder as well.

December will see Snowfall debut as a new map condition alongside an event, a new Raider Deck, and more. Stay tuned and check out our review in the meantime.
