After being used by players fo farm XP, bots got removed from Battlefield 6 last month. Ultimately, the devs decided to bring them back, but within a very specific condition.
Bots are now appearing in the Breakthrough, Conquest, and Rush modes. Up to 12 bots per game are expected. If the option is disabled, 20 real players must be present to start a match. Only eight will be needed if the same option is enabled. It is important to note that killing a bot-controlled enemy will earn a reduced amount of XP.
“If bots are enabled, player stats will not see gains (or losses) such as hours played, kill/death ratio, and total revives. This is not currently working as intended and is actively being adjusted.”
What’s more, Battlefield Studios has also announced the temporary removal of missiles from the VCI, as these were too powerful and could shoot down a helicopter or plane as soon as it took off.

It’s interesting to see the return of bots in Battlefield 6! They definitely add a unique dynamic to the game, and it will be intriguing to see how theyβre integrated this time around. Looking forward to more updates!
