Retro gaming enthusiasts have a few other options for getting their classic computing fix, including the C64 Mini – Black Edition. This $120 replica comes preloaded with the C64 Mini’s original 64-game lineup and 25 modern titles like Sam’s Journey and A Pig Quest. That means you’re getting 89 games in total for this tribute to the original Commodore 64 computer. Games are displayed in a 720p resolution, and you can even apply scanlines via the CRT filter. Like the original Commodore 64, you can even write your own programs and/or boot games you add to The C64 Mini via a USB stick, and thanks to the vast library of homebrew software on Itch.io, you can top up the device’s library with new games. Consider pairing it with the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard: C64 Edition. The wireless keyboard sports a C64-inspired design. It supports PC, Mac, SteamOS, Android, and iOS. It’s currently on sale for $95 (was $110).
