PlayStation Portal finally gets Cloud Streaming for PS Plus Premium subscribers

Sony has announced the rollout of cloud streaming on the PlayStation portal, a feature available today for PS Plus Premium members. The announcement was made on the official PlayStation blog, specifying that the update also brings a redesigned interface and several new features related to the gaming experience.

Premium subscribers can now stream PS5 games directly to their Portal without having to turn on their console. Compatible titles include Astro Bot, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War Ragnarök, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Hogwarts Legacy, and Ghost of Yōtei.

The Portal interface has been redesigned to include three tabs: Remote Play, Cloud Streaming, and Search. The second tab provides immediate access to games available for streaming, without downloading. Sony has also added support for 3D audio, code locking, and a network status screen, which is useful for monitoring connection quality.
