PIONER’s Open Beta is Now Live With Story Acts 1–5, Raids, PvP, and a Card-Battler Mode

GFA Games has kicked off PIONER’s open beta on PC, confirming a week-long test window that runs through November 11. Players can jump in via Steam to explore Tartarus Island ahead of the full launch planned for late 2025.

The studio outlines a sizable slice of content for this test including a five-act story campaign (Acts 1–5), the “Manufacture” raid plus a “Crash Site” training raid, three global quests (including a world-boss event), PvP Deathmatch, and the Carnage tournament, an in-game tactical card mode with ranked play and rewards. It all amounts to about 30 hours of gameplay, though progress will be wiped once the beta ends.

On Steam, the team previously teased timing changes as it moved from an October target to a November 4 start, and has been directing players to the app page as the entry point for the current test build.

Bottom line: This is more than a network shake-out, PIONER is letting players trial a broad slice of its MMOFPS loop. If the raids land and the story clicks, GFA Games could exit beta with positive word-of-mouth already doing the heavy lifting.
