After a slew of rumours released this week on what’s coming next to Fortnite, more Fortnite leaks have occurred today, forecasting Kill Bill and Hollywood as next for Battle Island.
Following its current status as a second Springfield (set to conclude on November 29), Fortnite is expected to transition yet again to its seventh Island home. An island that Epic Games is already teasing as “Chapter Seven,” and a score of Fortnite creators have shared teasers (and supposed Fortnite leaks), including a video from Epic Games that drops hints about the game’s seventh season. An official teaser for the next chapter has been shared by Fortnite content creator NickEh30, featuring real-world coordinates for the Hollywood sign and the following text: “Now Playing / Zero Hour / Chapter Seven / Fortnite After Dark With Q&U.” The post can be seen below.
The breadth of the Fortnite leak teaser shows text which reads: “Signal origin – 34.134117 N, 118.321495 W. Now playing, Zero Hour, Chapter Seven, Fortnite After Dark with Q & U. Early access. One night only. 11.19.25.” The numbers are coordinates that show the Hollywood sign’s location when plugged into Google, suggesting the seventh season might have a Hollywood theme or revolve around movies in some way. The line “Fortnite After Dark with Q & U” has players speculating that there could be a skin sitting the Fortnite Item Shop based on Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, most likely the iconic yellow jumpsuit worn by Uma Thurman in the two-part film.
“Q&U” was quickly linked by fans to the acronym used by Hollywood’s Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman for their work on Kill Bill. Kill Bill is making a resurgence of sorts, with a re-release scheduled to drop on December 5 as Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. This would be perfect timing on Fortnite‘s part for collaboration’s sake.
Other Fortnite leaks and rumours had suggested that Harry Potter and SpongeBob SquarePants would head to Fortnite in future collaborations, following the immediate popularity of The Simpsons’ release (which even crossed over into television). However, as of this posting, nothing has been officially confirmed by Epic Games. Fans looking for more information or who want to explore the Fortnite version of Springfield can head to the official website.
