Last September, NetEase decided to close T-Minus Zero Entertainment, a studio that opened in 2023 and had not released a single game. The story could have ended there, but the company was saved at the last minute.
A small group of employees announced that they had bought the T-Minus Zero Entertainment name to turn it into an independent studio. Its business model is inspired by “the independent film world”, and the goal here is to carry out highly targeted projects that are open to partnerships.
The original members of the studio are participating in this new adventure. They include Mark Tucker, Jeff Dobson, and Scott Stevens. However, Rich Vogel, the founder and former director of T-Minus Zero Entertainment, is clearly not involved at all.
