An acclaimed 2021 Square Enix PS5, PS4 adventure game is 85% off in a new PS Store deal that we highly recommend. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was a commendable effort by Eidos Montreal that went on to win a number of awards.
Guardians of the Galaxy PS Store deal offers excellent value for one of Square Enix’s best games in recent years
Guardians of the Galaxy is currently just $8.99 on the PS Store until this Thursday, November 6. The game is part of PS Plus Extra, but will leave the catalog at some point, so now is a good time to own a copy if you plan to play it and might not be able to get around to it anytime soon.
Guardians of the Galaxy received positive reviews, but players have long said that its 80/100 Metacritic average doesn’t do the game justice. Personally, I agree. It’s one of the very few Square Enix games that I thoroughly enjoyed in recent years. The gameplay is superb, the story is decent, and the action/combat is well-executed.
PS4 players will be pleased to note that should they upgrade their hardware in the future, they’ll be entitled to a PS5 copy of Guardians of the Galaxy at no additional cost.
