Where to find compression coils for “Hazard a Gas” in The Outer Worlds 2

Tracking down compression coils in Outer Worlds 2‘s “Hazard a Gas” quest feels like finding a needle in a haystack, except you’re finding 15 tiny coils in a massive wasteland with little help to go from. You can fork over some bits for a little help, but that only gets you roughly a fifth of all the coils. The rest of them are far and wide across Golden Ridge, though you don’t have to complete this quest to advance. The Auntie’s Choice soldier who asks for your aid has other quests you can do to get his help, if you want to.
