In news we didn’t expect to see today, PS5 players will get to play one of the most expensive Nintendo exclusives, among other classics. Limited Run Games announced a bunch of titles for PS5 and PS4 yesterday, among which is 1992 NES game Little Samson — a rare and one of the most expensive NES titles in North America.
PS5, PS4 getting a bunch of classics that we didn’t expect
For the uninitiated, action platformer Little Samson got decent reviews, but poor marketing was blamed for its lackluster sales in North America. As a result, the game became a rare collector’s item in the region.
Now, PS5 players can grab a slice of history in 2026.
Little Samson isn’t the only announcement from yesterday that surprised us. PS5 and PS4 are also getting a port of the unusual 1994 basketball FMV, Slam City with Scottie Pippen (Respect Edition), with a release window of 2026. This is brought to us by Screaming Villains.
Other classics headed to PlayStation are as follows:
- 2005 Nintendo exclusive Sigma Star Saga DX (PS5, PS4) in early 2026. Published by Limited Run Games.
- 1993 Sega CD FMV Prize Fighter: Heavyweight Edition (PS5, PS4) in 2026. Published by Screaming Villains.
- Raiden Fighters Remix Collection (PS5, PS4) on February 26, 2026. Published by Moss, this collection includes Raiden Fighters (1996), Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive (1997), and Raiden Fighters Jet (1998).
Are our readers looking forward to any of these games?
