Apple becomes part of The Game Awards advisors board

The Game Awards has an advisory board whose sole purpose is to guide and advance the event’s mission over the years. It’s important to note that members do not take part in the nominations and selection of winners, though.

This committee brings together several major companies represented by their leaders. For example, Hideo Kojima is a member, as are Rob Kostich (President of Activision), Dr. Lisa Su (CEO of AMD), Laura Miele (President of EA), Phil Spencer (CEO of Microsoft Gaming), and Yves Guillemot (CEO of Ubisoft).

For the 2025 Game Awards and onwards, Apple has been added to this long list of advisory committee members. This could very well mean a real resurgence of interest in the video game sector from Apple.

The 2025 Game Awards will be held on the night of December 11 to 12.
