PS Plus Might Also Remove Acclaimed PS4 Game in November

Surviving Mars might join games leaving PS Plus in November

An acclaimed 2018 PS4 game might be joining the list of games leaving PS Plus in November 2025. We recently reported that Surviving Mars, which has been in the PS Plus Extra catalog since the service’s revamp, is getting a PS5 remaster. That remaster, however, is not going to be a free upgrade for existing owners.

Current list of games leaving PS Plus in November doesn’t include Surviving Mars but that could change

While PS Plus games are sometimes updated with newer versions, we have reason to believe that Surviving Mars might end up leaving the catalog. For starters, the game has been part of PS Plus for several years. Secondly, the version that’s in the catalog is set to be permanently delisted from the PS Store.

Since the upcoming Surviving Mars: Relaunched won’t be a free upgrade for existing owners, we doubt it’ll be added as a free upgrade in the PS Plus catalog. This means that it’s highly likely that Surviving Mars will be removed from PS Plus on November 10, or shortly afterwards.

The game currently isn’t in the PS Store’s “Last Chance to Play” list, but it’s not unheard of for games to be removed without notice. Therefore, we strongly suggest that those who are currently playing Surviving Mars wrap it up unless you are willing to purchase it.
